Default Trade with big keeper/playoff implications

I give Kucherov and 2 roster players (to be determined) for Connor/Debrincat from a team out of the playoffs. One will become my 4th keeper. Either one would be a big downgrade in a keep 4 to Kuch. I could also trade one or both over the summer for picks or an upgrade.

Go for it or make it work with what you have and the wire.

    10 team H2H !Y League (4 keepers - at least 1 must be a D-man OR Goalie)

Goalies - Wins, Saves, S%, GAA (Min. 4 starts)

Oof, this is a tough one all things considered.

I assume the "TBD" means you have to drop people to make room on your roster.

Where are you sitting right now in the standings? I do like the idea of making a go-for-it approach but is the slight upgrade really worth it in the long run?

Yea I’d have to drop a Mantha or Palmieri type. I’m currently in 2nd. 1st in my division so I get a bye next week in round 1. I’m really reluctant to make this move.

Edit: The team in 1st has mowed down everyone this season. He's got a very well rounded team for a banger league.

For me a lot would depend on who you are replacing Connor and DeBrincat with.

As a keeper, yeah that's the million dollar question. The worst case would be I'd need to choose one and drop the other for the redraft. That's a pretty big downgrade from Kuch. The bigger issue is what happens if games are cancelled during our playoffs and I do make this trade? So many things could go wrong. This is why I'm really gun-shy about this one.

Yeah, if it were me, this is not enough to move on from Kucherov. If you thought this trade would put you over the top to win the league, I might consider it. But I get the impression that you still think you are a second place team after this deal. So it's a tough call, but especially in a keep 4 format, I don't think I would do it.

Yeah I agree. I’ve been catching lightning in a bottle with waiver pickups. With 5 per week this may be the better play.

I am not in a H2H this season, but given the scheduling uncertainty of scheduling, I would not be trading away a cornerstone keeper to make my push.
Take the W if it comes but dont wrench future seasons to roll the dice this year.
