If there's anything ailing him the Canucks should sit him. They're playing for nothing but draft position right now.
They're worse without him - so sit him (which means Benning will play him)
Weird update by Fantrax. Anyone make sense of it?
Seeing a specialist this week and will need time to get up and running but team thinks he will be ready when they return to play?
You don’t usually see a specialist if you are ok. Going to play hurt? Or just sit him rest of season?

Doesn't sound like that is their gameplan.....

Elias Pettersson (upper body) will visit with a specialist this week.
Advice: Pettersson is slated to get looked at on Tuesday or Wednesday. The Canucks hope to get him back by the end of the week, but he may need a bit longer. Pettersson has been skating and he's working his way back from an upper-body injury.
