Hey all. Deadline today for league in sig.
Situation : 1st place with 43pt lead. Pretty satisfied with my team (aside from Hart who can't seem to stop a beach ball) but my farm team is packed with injuries so if anyone in lineup goes down I have almost nothing to help out.
Wondering if it's worth making a trade for help? Svech owner asking for a 3rd round pick but I'd have to drop Eichel to make place. Could probably get Dunn for an 8th rounder as D insurance. Already traded away 4th and 5th picks.
Opinions? Make move or stand pat and hope for the best?

The thing is Eichel is probably not a keeper for me. Emphasis on CAP league. Protecting McDavid, Kucherov, Crosby AND Eichel makes no sense cap wise. I'd rather protect someone like Guentzel at 6M than Eichel at 10M (given my other aforementioned keepers).
No one is even interested in him in my league as they prefer lower salaries (+ buffalo and injury history)

Even in a points only cap league, the fact that teams want a 3rd round pick over Eichel is very amusing. Who even knows if Eichel will be in Buffalo next year...
