I hope you know the other side of your argument at least because there's 16 teams in the playoffs, Boston was the one that gave up a 2nd+, and Hall said he always wanted to go to Boston. So who knows the actual amount of teams that could have been in on Hall. Maybe the Leafs were in on Hall and offered a 1st.

We can't know the behind the scenes stuff, and the hard stance you have on this makes it seem like we're playing NHL21 where it's just an easy send an offer.

We have enough knowledge from enough sources to know that Hall would have accepted to go to a number of contenders. Would he have gone to Carolina? Who knows! Do we know he would have gone to more locations than just Boston? Absolutely yes! To pretend otherwise would be to ignore the mountain of evidence we have otherwise. Multiple people have already said he would have accepted a trade to the NYI and to Toronto, at minimum.

At the end of the day, I'm sure lots of teams checked in on Hall but his NMC was probably more of a determining factor on him going to Boston than any offer on the table for him.

    But did Hall say?

All hearsay at this point. Even Hall's agent suggesting as much at this point is pure posturing for the offseason and free agency and a hopeful busy schedule of suitor interviews.

"All you suitors who failed to inquire about Taylor Hall at the deadline... yes he most certainly would have accepted a trade to your organization had you inquired".

I'm not entirely sure the Mountain of Evidence you speak off even existed prior to the trade to Boston, but not at all surprised such "evidence" is gathering and multiplying now that he's excelling with Boston and looking for his next pay day.

there was a chart going around twitter that montreal had one of the lowest % of 5v5 goals to win in a series in the cap era.

campbell had a 1.81 gaa and .934 sv%. really unlucky his record was 3-4. shit happens.
