Insight on Zohorna?
Does anyone of you have any insight on Zohorna?
I picked him up for free for my farm in my very deep dynasty (team and league in sig) a week ago. I don't expect him to continue being a pt per game player or to score on every third shot, but having watched how he got his points so far, these were far from fluke scoring. Pretty awesome plays actually...
Is this just the adrenalin in his first few games? Or have the Pens unearthed a gem here? AHL numbers look solid (11pts in 12 games) - could he be one of those guys who can thrive at the NHL just/almost as well as in the minors right off the bat? Huge guy marinating until his mid 20ies and ready to physically dominate already?
It's hard to get any significant information on him on my side of the Atlantic (even though he's played in the Czech league not too long ago), so maybe one of you guys knows more or has seen him play more often?

I picked him up yesterday as well in my dynasty.. at worst he's a free add that gets cut, but from what I read, looks like a late bloomer. Big body, he has good skill (watching his goal yesterday), using his reach.

Not a lot of players making the move from the Czech league to the AHL, but from what we have the Czech league is comparible to the AHL, meaning P/G puts them at a 40pt NHL pace.
P/G in the AHL is also considered NHL ready, so it's no surprise that he's having some NHL success - but running a little hot to start.
