That's very tough on you defence core... but if you truly believe this will net you the championship, I think you have to pull the trigger.

Depends on your goals. If you're all-in to win it this year, then sure, pull the trigger.
But otherwise, this is a big hit in a dynasty league. You're basically trading 1/3 of your roster for players who are on average 5+ years older, and should be starting to decline, if they haven't already. I think this deal hurts you as soon as next year.
This does't mean that the trade is necessarily unfair. But you are mortgaging your future big time.
I'd be wondering if you could do a smaller 3-piece deal, that would still put you in first, without gutting your youth (ie. I'd want to keep one of the forwards, preferably Konecny, and one of either Hamilton or Theodore). Maybe try something along the lines of Theodore/Krug/Vrana for Carlson/Letang/Pacioretty and go from there.

Make the trade. Like some guys who are so jonesing after the youngsters (oh lookie me, I have a bunch of purdy prospects), if this deal puts you over the top. Do it. Worry about tomorrow when it comes. Sometimes I think some guys and gals like sitting on prospects each year than winning, and sometimes you need to sacrifice age to get better.
