Default Eichel/Hedman Who Won the Trade?

This deal went down pre-deadline in my league. Competing team received Hedman and team with no shot this year got the Eichel side:

    Hedman
    For
    Eichel, Rielly

This is a limited keep (4 FWD, 2D, 1G), and I wanted to see which side folks preferred as I thought it was a pretty great "hockey trade" but some league GMs thought it was lopsided
    8tm Keep 7FWD,4D,1G
    3
    C,3LW,3RW,5D,2G (positional game played cap)
    G(3),A(2),+/-(1),PM(0.5),PPP(1),GW(1),S(0.4),W(4),SV(0.2),GA(-1),SO(2)
    C:Aho, Barkov, Pavelski(RW), Nugent-Hop(LW)
    R:Rantanen, Pasta, Konecny
    L:Guentzel, Gaudreau, Keller(RW), Benn
D:Makar, Karlsson, Sergachev, Dobson, Hronek, Sanderson
    G:Vasilevskiy, Hart, Kuemper, Kotchetkov, Husso

Eichel Rielly side easily. Huge win for next year and beyond versus small win for Hedman side ROS.

yeah seems like the competing team really, really valued the difference of Hedman over Rielly to help him this year. And probably is really, really concerned about Eichel in Buffalo based on how awful they've been this year. If he wins, he'll feel good about it. If he doesn't and Eichel performs to even 80% of what most people expect him to do over the next few years, he'll regret this.

I can't fault him for going for it though. Good trade.

If Eichel wasn't a keeper for the competing team, I understand this trade. But still, the side that gets Eichel won this trade.

J Hughes, Cooley (r), Bratt, Laine, M Tkachuk, Necas, A Svechnikov, S Jarvis, M Michkov (r), W Johnston, Zegras, Giroux, Norris, Couturier, B Jenner, T Krug, Burns, M Weegar, Werenski, Sergachev, B Clarke (r), Theodore, Sorokin , Oettinger, Askarov (r), Ersson
    12 teams, No salary cap
Keep 14 plus 4 rookies (under 150 GP) max 18 players
    Scoring: G (1), A (1), +/- (0.25), H (0.1), B(0.1), PIM (0.1), SOG (0.1), GWG (1), PPP (1), SHP (1),

If Reilly is a keeper, they have done very well. If not, it's just most likely a good deal.

If Hedman team wins the title, they have done well.

    Need more time to tell.
