Shesterkin vs Jarry

Currently have Jarry on IR and Shesterkin active. Can only roster and play 1 goalie (Wins 2, OTL 1, SO 5). I can keep Jarry on IR unless I need to make any roster changes. Jarry plays 7 games Apr 6-18 (with 2 b2b) where Shesterkin has 8 games in same3 period with 2 b2b. Rangers hosts Pens for 2 games tonight and Thursday. I favor Jarry as my starter but should I play Shesterkin for now and leave Jarry on bench?

When your stats are based on team performance I would start Jarry. Pittsburgh and Jarry should get more wins.

I guess a concern would be if DeSmith eats into too many starts.

But even so, I still want Jarry.

Thanks guys. I guess I was over-thinking it. I do think Shesterkin will likely start more games if they stay in the hunt. But I do think the Pens have a better team even with Malkin out.

Shesterkin > Jarry

The Rangers are fighting for that playoff spot and shouldn't be discounted.

Yep, played Jarry (had to drop Shesterkin). What a mess.
