Tolvanen for wheeler?
In a keeper league situation where tolvanen is on my prospect bench and I can’t touch him until next season. I’m currently 2nd in the league and looking to make a run (H2H) in playoffs.
Should I pull the trigger? Wheeler would be an upgrade on my last starting forward.... but will I regret if tolvanen goes off next year?

Wheeler is a game-time decision tonight, so I'd await that news before accepting a trade.
Assuming you have the option of keeping Wheeler next season and beyond, I don't mind the deal for you assuming you're in a good position to win the league this year. Tolvanen may go off, but that's the risk you take (I need to make a similar decision on him after this season).

Blake Wheeler has 3-4 more years of putting up 60+ point seasons. He's fast for a big man. Even though he's lost a step in speed, he's still a fast moving player and Mark Scheifele and him have great chemistry. He's still under contract for a few more years. Problem with the Nashville Predators is their inability to score and generate offence among their forward group. This has gone on as long as Day 1 when they came into the league. And I am not a fan of John Hynes, even though they have seemed to have righted the wrongs earlier this season.
Take age out of the equation. Are you willing to mortgage 3-4 years before Eeli Tolvanen produces more than Wheeler, because that's how long you could be waiting.
