TBF your team looks quite stacked but with the uncertainty of Josi's injury - I think you should go for the trade to get Chabot.
How deep is this league?
I don't have much back-up in D and I'm a serious contender.
I might land Chabot for Josi+probably Hoglander or N.Robertson, would it be worth it?

9 GM's, we each have 35 players with the same settings as my league in sig.
My team is stacked but I'm still second by 6 pts and up by 1 on the third, then number four is 175 pts lower.
The other guy isn't interested (for Josi+ vs Chabot) after all so I think I'll try Theodore next.

Why do you have to add to Josi for one of these guys?

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
I don't have anyone else in my reserve list that could make it happen. Ellis isn't valuable enough and the only reason why I'd deal Josi is because he's rated as « week to week » and I need a d-men of his caliber to make up for his loss in order to have a chance for the number one spot.
Or else, there is Yandle I was considering to trade for. It would be a cheaper option.

older thread, but still actuall.
I think the real question is: Is Josi tradable for any other healthy player better then FA in 1year league?
As Nashville is not willing to share a injury details, do you think Josi will be ready sooner than NHL play-offs ?
Another thing to concern: Nashville is playing only 3+3+4 matches during Fantasy playoffs.
Update: coach said that Josi (and also Ellis ) started skating:

So I am keeping Josi on the IR slot. But I hate to see the Nashville schedule at the and of fantasy season.
Will try to trade him, when he is healhty.
Josi miraculously healthy and back in line-up today
