Read he's close to returning. How would he fit into Hawks lines at regular and even strength? Worth an add?

Not sure what "still has a ways to go" means but it sounds like he's still got some work to do.Kirby Dach will travel on the Blackhawks’ road trip and continue to practice with the team, although he “still has a ways to go” before playing in a game.

Kirby Dach is colse to returning, practices with Blackhawks!
Thats huge. Dach should not only help the Blackhawks for their battle for the playoffs, but he could be a big boost to your team in the most important weeks of the season - probably the final 5 weeks of the fantasy season(including the playoff weeks).

I assume that the Blackhawks are taking it day by day, practice by practice. It could be 2 weeks( I highly doubt it) or around a month(more likely).Originally Posted by Axeman33

Yup this would be exciting to see!
And I am excited that he is close to return. Tough way for him to get injured and miss the World Juniors.

Pretty sure he is still projected to miss at least another month, probably more. Just because he is on the ice doesnt mean that much. It's a wrist injury, so until he really starts taking consistent shots I'd still be ruling him out for most of what's left of this season.

Maybe, but I saw footage of the traning and he's shooting, passing, dribbling. It's not like he's on the ice without a stick. the last Hawks game of the regular season is schedule on may 10th. It's 62 days from today. I think he can play the last 2 weeks to get in shape for the playoff.Pretty sure he is still projected to miss at least another month, probably more. One month from now the Hawks will have 14 games remaining. They play Dallas on Apr 6 and 8 - I'll bet he comes back in one of those games. so He'll get into 14 or 15 games. Not bad.

Great Question... one has to think if we have not heard anything by now that the season is a write-off.
The team is in the playoff hunt and we haven't heard... I don't think its a good sign.

Jeremy Colliton says there’s no exact timeline for Kirby Dach, but they’re giving him more and more. He has been cleared for some contact.
