Lehner for Sorokin trade thoughts
Hello all,
I'm hoping to get some feedback on a trade offer. You can see my goalies below and I was interested in Sorokin so I have both Islanders goalies. I was going to offer Lehner whom I recently picked up on waivers. He should be back soon but he was not playing well earlier this year so who knows what you will get. The daily ramble today suggested Sorokin will probably see more starts in the second half since the Isles are in first and Varlamov tends to be injury prone. Obviously Vegas is a solid team too and Fleury has been excellent but they have a lot of money invested in Lehner to have him be a back up.
Maybe Gibson is the better offer but I like that he is the true #1 but unfortunately on a bad team.

Thanks guys. It is a one year league, sorry that info would have been helpful before.
I am slipping in the standings due to laughably close finishes in several weeks so it is tough to be patient with my team. Hopefully my luck with turn soon. But I do agree Lehner is more valuable in a single season if he can get on the ice.

I'd make the offer of Gibson or Lehner, their choice and see what happens. Being able to lock up the Islanders crease is a good thing.
