Default Is Kakko a nice buy low option?

    Hello all!

League in signature. Not competing this year and I’m looking for some buy low options to solidify my keepers (trying to compete in 2 years).

Could trade Hintz or Meier for Kakko. I was curious to get your input. To me, Meier and Hintz have a ceiling of 65-70 pts top, but Kakko could be much higher. Is the risk too great? Would you do it? Thoughts on Kakko next year and beyond?

    Thx!!

I'd trade away Hintz for Kakko. KK is taking some time, but you're basically getting in at ground level on a key piece for a young, talented Rangers team.

I would trade both and even add to get Kakko if I had to. I can’t imagine the kakko owner would even be interested in those players though.

    Hintz yes, Meier no.

Lots of folks impatient with Kakko. If you can get him for Hintz, I'd do that and then be patient.

    Thx for the input!

He indeed backed out of the proposed trade. I’ll keep pushing.

Out of curiosity, would you improve on Hintz, or is it too risky?
