One of these days, a player is going to lose it and retaliate by swinging their stick
baseball style against the face of someone like Wilson. Then they'll argue that the league wouldn't protect the players, and the player felt scared that he would be injured, so they had to defend themselves.

Tom Wilson's Suspension History:
Sept 2017 - 2 pre-season games
Sept 2017 - In the pre-season finale, he boarded Blais. 4 game regular season suspension
May 2018 - Suspended 3 playoff games for hit to the head of Aston-Reese (broken jaw and concussion)
Oct 2018 - 20 game suspension for hit to Sundqvist head during the pre-season. It was appealed and brought down to 14. The decision to reduced it was made during his 16th missed game, so he got 2 games worth of pay back
March 5 2021 - 7 game suspension for boarding Carlo.

30 games over 5 different suspensions. He's also had 3 fines now I think.

I don't get how he didn't get punished because of his March 2021 suspension.

I've always felt that people "policing" the league should be able to answer questions based on decisions they made. The refs, and DoPS should be available to answer questions based on their decisions more than they currently are. I would love to hear the reasoning behind only fining Wilson and knowing where the line was actually crossed. I know that would never happen though.

I think Morin got fined because in a fight he pulled a Rangers hair while falling down, I haven't seen Wilson pull Panarin's hair, but I think I saw people say he did. By the leagues own history this season with fines, Wilson then should be fined if he did pull Panarin's hair, because they set that line previously.

the guy threw him to the ice...ok that happens in scrums when the strength disparity is massive. You don't then throw punches at a helmetless player who you just ragdolled and is laying on the ice beneath you.
