Shesterkin helped off the ice tonight after making a cross crease save. Ugh.

Shesterkin injured himself stretching for a save and was in serious pain. He was unable to get get up even with the help of two teammates and a trainer. New York's starting netminder eventually was able to get off the ice but was unable to put any weight on his right leg. This appears to be a serious injury and fantasy owners should brace themselves for the worst.

About 6 weeks left in the season I think? 6-8. If he's done for 4 weeks, I can see them not rushing him back.

Man he reacted like his groin tore into 8 pieces... I don't get how it isn't anything "serious". Guess it depends on your definition of serious injury though. Torn groin vs torn ACL is very different.

Sometimes things are worse in the moment.... but I dunno man.. It looked really painful. I think it's for sure groin, minimally a pull, and hopefully not a tear. It's still weeks even for a pull, especially for a goalie.
