If your team is winning comfortably every week then I see no reason to stream. But if you're in a dogfight then I definitely think someone like Laughton is droppable to get some more games.
First post. Also first time in a H2H league. Sitting 7th/20 now. I've been doing well with waiver pickups and streaming a few players in the last few weeks. I'm liking my pickups now though, and the last few players I've dropped have been snapped up by my higher ranking competitors. Also not sure how Bertuzzi fits off IR in a few weeks.
Ideally, I'd like a streamer position, but the available picks are starting to get a bit thin compared to what I'm dropping.
Don't like having 3 BUF players, but trades appear to be rare in my league - no luck so far.
If it helps, here's the calibre of free agents right now that I'd be streaming with:
F: Hartman, Pitlick, Coleman, Kerfoot, Vatrano, Carter; Wennberg, Lucic, Wagner
D: Cole, Dobson, Bogosian, Miller, Greene, Beaulieu, Goligoski, Whitecloud, Dunn
Ideas?

hockeyrobot: he is not winning. he is 7/20.
Hard to say, because you play a lot of uncommon stats (SHG,SHA,FOW) and it is a deep league, but I think your team is weak. You have no elite player in your squad.
Try 2:1 trades to upgrade your core and to make room for new FA pickups.
It's hard to make progress only with FA pickups without trades.
Thanks - that perspective helps. I'll try the 2:1 trade route to build the core and will stop thinking I have to stream every week to win. Save the streaming for IR fill later or freed up roster spots from 2:1.

Ended up trading Bjork and Reinhart for Kreider on Monday this week. That freed up a streaming spot that has been very useful in the last week while I wait for Bertuzzi's return. Replaced Eichel's FOW with Zacha until something better comes along, and streamed Iafallo, Donskoi, Schultz and now Robertson to maximize games played. 8th now (out of 20), but looks like I can limp into top 4-6 in my league for playoffs, and since I've had tougher opponents, I should have a chance at cracking the semifinals. Thanks for the tips!
