So I've been offered a 2nd round pick and Matt Duchene for Josi and my 6th round pick

I am thinking of countering with Josi and my 7th for his 1st rd and Connor Garland.
Is that still too low of a counter?

We are weekly H2H 16 teams, and Keep 12
Categories are: G, A, +/-, PIM, PPG, PPP, SOG, HITS.
My other dmen are Chabot, Heiskanen, R Andersson, Ekblad, and Holl.

My fwds: Kaprizov, Kessel, E Kane, Larkin, Kuznetsov, M Foligno, Hoglander, Atkinson, Rantanen, Hintz and C White.

your team seems pretty stacked for a 12 team league, although that’s looking at your signature is not the same as the post ... the lineup in your post is much weaker and Josi may be your best player.

anyway I consider Josi a top-five D in the league (top 10 at least), and he is pretty strong across the categories so I would be very wary of selling him cheap. In my league I traded Stone one for one for him. None of the deals you listed would excite me, especially not Duchene who I think is a bum.

Yes I haven't updated my signature yet with this league.

I have no interest in Duchene. That is why I thought of countering with Garland and a 1st rd pick. But still think that could be low for Josi.

I wouldn't do this. Trading Josi leaves you pretty sparse at D and I don't think Garland and the pick would really benefit you. You should only be getting a stud forward back if you're trading a stud defence

I think it's a reasonable counter, if you're happy with it. Garland looks to be for real.

I rejected the offer and didn't counter.
Not sure if I would be really happy with it. This GM also has Ehlers and I do like him.
So thinking of letting it rest a couple days

I don't like the Duch offer, good denial there. I also don't think the Garland idea enough either.

Josi qualifies as a superstar IMO but, surprise! Superstars are also human and can underwhelm at times. I have more faith in him and his track record going forward than those deals could account for.

Unless you get an offer that blows you out of the water, I'd stay with what you have. Josi will bounce back. No point in selling low on him.

I rejected the offer and did not send a counter offer back.
I would trade Josi but want a good offer for him. As I am in no rush to do or is it a requirement.
