Burns+Atkinson for Carlson

Carlson owner is lagging in SOG and is entertaining an offer of Burns+ for Carlson. He expressed interest in Atkinson but I don't know whether I should just stand pat or pull the trigger.

I have G & SOG covered by a fair margin, but am struggling in A, +/-, PPP

Sometime soon I need to clear roster spots for my IR guys (Mrazek & Grzelcyk), so either I consolidate via trade or will have to make some drops.

If not Burns+Atkinson for Carlson, does anyone see another deal worth trying?

His full squad:

He doesn't want to trade a goalie, and I would likely try to ditch Kuznetsov afterwards unless I want to risk going Caps-heavy

Burns value is low right now.
Atkinson's value is high right now.

If these two regress to an expected level then I think its a fair trade.

I would consider making the move... because the value of Burns at age 35 is not likely going to increase very much. Even if he does have a hot streak.

I would also try to move Burns and Radulov for Carlson first to see if he would bite on that idea.
Sell him on Radulov having 11 points in 8 games

Forgot what an asset Atkinson can be in the SHP category -- and he continues his hot streak last night.

Anyone think Burns+Atkinson is too much to give up for Carlson? Should I aim lower and target a different defenseman from his team, or just start shopping elsewhere?

Carlson owner's got cold feet now and wants to wait and see how it goes this week.

Any other D-man in the league worth kicking the tires on with Burns+Atkinson, or should I stand pat too?
