Suzuki + 2021 1st rd Pick for Byfield

I was just offered this trade... Suzuki and a first round pick from this year for my Byfield. Thoughts? Dynasty league, team in signature.

I’d probably take this trade. This feels like classic paying for hype. Suzuki is proven and you are getting a first on top of that. This draft is not great so maybe see if you can get a first in 22 or 23.

I would take that deal, Suzuki is good but the whole team is low right now.

Unless it's a top 5 pick coming along with Suzuki, I prefer the Byfield side.

I don't see this as win now vs build for the future trade at all. Suzuki is 21, not 27 FFS. I'd definitely take that trade. Byfield is probably going to be a very good player but so is Suzuki AND whoever you get with the pick. It's big upside vs big upside x 2.

It's an 8 team league, so that pick has to be at least decent. How does your 28 active break down by position?

Suzki is likely to end up being better than some of your current forwards. I think Byfeld has a higher upside, though.
