I’ve been patient with Hall, but he’s been a dead spot in my Lineup. Would you play Palat as my #2 lw and wait for Hall to show signs of life? I worry I’ll bench him for instance today, then he’ll score 2 goals. I sat Kreider and played Palat the night Kreider had a hatty, Palat was quiet then didn’t have Palat in last night. This was pre acquiring Pacioretty.

This sounds smart to me, no one has interest in him in my league, but there are lots of Hall critics in general around lol.

If I was an NHL GM I would steer way clear of Hall in the off-season. A contract of term will not age gracefully. It might not be Jeff Skinner bad but it will be a millstone around whoever signs him. He won't get Karlsson's money but he'll bring the same value.

Hot tip, I'm finally selling him tonight, so he should explode soon if anybody wants to pick him up.
Just can't go on even though the numbers say I'll regret it. He doesn't pass the eye test.

I’m quite enjoying the thread, I’m a Hall owner and I finally benched him tonight and played Palat, and it worked out at least this time. I do worry with road match ups against the defensively stout Isles coming up, not great chance to snap out of funk. I think he’ll heat up at some point, but Buffalo is looking like a tire fire.

He has been impossibly bad. It is just horrendous. Yes, his shooting percentage points to a positive regression, but watching him play I am not sure he is much better than a 2% shooter this year....

I can't believe I kept him in both of my keep 10 leagues. Every night I dread looking at his stat line. I physically hate him at this point.

I managed to trade him in one league for a little value about 3 weeks ago, but any residual value he may have had is pretty much completely evaporated at this point.... I think I am stuck with either holding or dropping him in my other league. I just never dreamed he could play this poorly. I suppose us Hall owners just need to hope for some spark out him at some point. Either that or dump his ass to the wire. He is literally the worst player on my team right now.

I was saying this last year when he went to the Yotes, lol. He needs to go somewhere where he plays with a pass first centre, and a guy that’ll let him carry the puck.

I have him under contract, he is my 2 year so I can’t just dump him, you can get out of a contract via trade or buy out route ($), and I’ve improved my team the past couple of weeks, but not sure how he’ll fit my plans after this season, lots will determine that. I have Seguin hurt and Hall sucking as 2 of my keeper, Byfield was sent to the Minors, and Josi hasn’t been playing as well as he can, so has been a challenging season so far, but I’m trending in the right direction.

I wonder if the Bruins try for him again. I think theyve been looking at him for a couple of years. 2nd line with Krejci, could work with the top pairing d focussed on the big top line.
