    Hopefully he is 100% healthy.

I don't want him to come back until he is the player he was a couple years back.

Get healthy and push for a playoff spot.

Agreed. Hopefully that player is still in there somewhere.

At this point I am just hoping for something near 2019-2020 Karlsson (59 point/82 pace)!

    Yes, that would be great!

Does anyone stay up late enough to watch the Sharks?

Has he just changed his style of game?

I have not but the analysis seems to suggest he is a lot slower right now than he was at his peak. I dont know how he looks compared to last season, though. I think if he gets a couple more bounces, his total numbers dont look as bad. I know he has been on the ice for some goals for and had assists taken away. You have to hope a talent like him at his age isn't totally done. The Sharks have been off for so long, you wonder what kind of condition some of those players were in.

The layoff is a great point. How many teams that had a big layoff are even doing well this year? Is LA the only real breakout?

I didn't realize he was almost on 60 point pace last season! For some reason I thought he dropped off big time.

Yea, he had the 12th highest pt/g out of Dmen who played 20+ games last season. Judging by his Yahoo ownership (68%), people are pretty down on him. I don't blame them, but I also think it could be a genuine opportunity to shake him loose for a big discount. Buy low doesn't often work unless the owner of the player has some serious doubts about them. There are serious doubts about him right now, so if you one is a believer then now is the time. It's a gamble for sure, but it could pay off as long as you aren't paying with a core piece.

Haha, considering I just traded him to you there's a little extra incentive there!

Unfortunately that is never going to happen. His numbers have cratered when he is playing. He is no longer nor will he be fantasy relevant.

hes going to ride the bench for me for a while but last season he put up 40 pts in 56 games with just over 2 sogs per game which is still excellent production from D. I believe he could still be fantasy relevant but wont be a stud. 40-45 pt pace with 2 sogs per game is more than playable.

I dropped him in my league that counts sogs/hits/blocks though since it was a more shallow league.

A PPG and 9 sogs in the 2 games since hes been back. Even Boughner noted he looks more like EK out there...

Might fire him up a bit earlier than anticipated

3 points in 4 games since returning from injury. We know there's a good player in there, it's a matter of if his body lets him do what he does. If he's back to feeling good I think he's still probably no worse than a 40 point defenseman, which I'll take at this point.
