Hey All,

So I just managed to pull off this trade with a Bobrovsky owner;

My J.Staal & Driedger for his Zibanejad & Holtby...

Considering I already have Andersen (when he gets back from Day to Day injury) and Vasilevskiy... I figured this was a no-brainer selling Staal and Driedger while they have high value, and hoping that Zibanejad breaks out... Holtby could end up being dropped for another goalie on waivers, but a decent enough stop gap I presume.

Thoughts?

I like this risk for you. Staal is already slowing down as expected and while he will bring those peripherals, those can always be found elsewhere.

Losing Driedger sucks but the upside here is undeniable. Especially if there are waiver wire goalies available to replace Hotlby.

I think the huge upgrade from Staal to Zibs is enough to make up for a hit in goaltending. Especially if you have some WW options. I like this deal for you.

That's a HUGE HUGE win for you. You may have gotten the 2 best players in the deal at season's end - the #2 & 3 will be a goalie, just unsure of the order.
