I just signed Quinn Hughes to 4 yrs before this season.

I'm thin on RW at the moment, someone is offering me Matthew Tkachuk/Pietrangelo for Quinn Hughes.

My other D is Josi, based on my team would you consider this deal or is Hughes too valuable relative to position/Pietrangelo too much of a downgrade?

Keep in mind no banger cats, and goals are weighted higher than assists.

My initial lean is No, and there are better ways to upgrade RW, and I need Hughes on D.

It's just an interesting offer, that's why I'm bringing it up.

He actually said Dubois/Tkachuk, but I wouldn't trade a D and not get one back.

In your format, Hughes is arguably the best d-man available. Tkachuk is not the best RW available, probably not even top 10.

I'd either look for a different way to acquire a RW (my preference) or I'd look for a straight swap with a top 5-7 RW (Marner, Gaudreau, Kane, Rantanen, etc.)

Thanks, I totally agree. I’m holding, because we start 2 D and I wouldn’t move a starting D without getting one back.
