Carlson vs Josi

Which D would you rather have moving forward as a keeper with these categories? I have Carlson but could get Josi and a slight pick upgrade. Any advice would be great! Team in sig

This is very close to me, coin flip so which do you prefer on your team. What is your interest in Josi?
I would likely stay with Carlson

Depending on the value of the pick upgrade I would consider this trade.

The Value difference between Carlson and Josi is not huge.

So if the pick upgrade involves a high round pick I think this is valuable.

I immediately thought Carlson for sure but looked at the stats closer. It’s definitely a tough decision and I could justify the trade if the pick upgrade was good enough.

However I do lean towards Carlson especially given that Washington just has a much better offensive team than the Preds do

Preds offense is a tire fire.. I don't see it improving. I say Carlson but if the pick upgrade is significant, then maybe. I still like the hold on Carlson though.

My initial reaction is to say stick with Carlson but it really comes down to the pick upgrade portion. If it's just a small upgrade, I woudn't bother. If it's significant, they'd get my attention.

I'd say Carlson, just based on the team he's on not the actual player.

Carlson for sure for me. The gap isn't that huge, but I'm pretty confident in it being there. Carlson has a few more top years on the Caps, whereas Josi might be stuck on a bottomdweller for the rest of his prime. Carlson has offensive upside which very few other Dmen have, even though Josi is quite awesome in those settings.
