Dubois Package
I've received an offer for Dubois: my Dubois, Boeser, R Andersson for his M Tkachuk and J Hughes. I'm tempted but wanted to get the value right as Andersson is worth a pic too IMO. All players in the trade would be keepers. I'm competing, he's rebuilding but is impatient.

I wouldn't do that. Dubois I believe is going to be a monster once he gets settled in Wpg. Andersson is back on Calgary PP and looking good. Blessed is on fire. Ask these players are young.
Really like Hughes and Tkachuk but you are competing; this is not the time to make this deal.

Call me crazy but I think I might do it. Andersson is expendable. Hughes has the highest upside of all, except he plays on a terrible team. It's too hard to stomach if you're contending, since you might need the depth, but if you weren't I would seriously consider it. How many chances do you get to acquire a Jack Hughes? Boeser and Dubois have nowhere near the same offensive upside.

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking Dubois > Tkachuk, Boeser <<< Hughes, and Andersson is a really good Dman, enough to warrant a pick from him. As I'm competing I think it's best to explore this in the off-season.

Agreed that if you weren't in the mix I would make this deal, but its hard to swallow what you're losing if you're also trying to compete.

I like the Tkachuk side and it's not even close imo. Tkachuk is a monster in banger leagues and Hughes has the highest ceiling out of any player involved.
