Haha! I do exactly that root for a loss, but not a blowout. I don't want their confidence shaken for their next start lol.

I don't root at all either way. If he does well then I feel it bodes well for his future performance. Plus, his value goes up if he is playing well. If he has a poor game I feel I dodged a bullet.

I want them to prove me wrong and play well. But a part of me kind of prefers they lose the game despite their efforts lol. Regardless, I would prefer them to not suck and give me faith in them again.

I root for a win if it's a team I root for. If it's a team I hate, I will root for a loss.
Otherwise, I don't care much, would generally prefer no injury.
