Arvidsson Complain Thread

Drafted Viktor Arvidsson hoping for a bounce back year. Currently he has 7 points in 17 games.. The ray of light is he has 2 G on 57 SOG and is continually firing 4+ shots per game. Also skating top line with Granlund/Forberg and top-PP.

Nothing to do but sit and wait for the shots to eventually go in right? Can't drop him or trade him. Really just wanted to vent.

I dropped him weeks ago in a similar league setup. Why can't you drop him?

He was dropped in my 12 teamer and is still sitting in FA. Granted you have 3 UTIL spots to my 1, so I'm not sure he's fully droppable there yet.

But most Preds have been burning holes in our rosters (Josi has returned nowhere near the value I drafted him for). Totally sucks, but as a Devils fan I should've seen it coming with Hynes behind the bench there...

I should re-phrase. I can drop him but do see him improving the deployment, ice-time and shots are there just nothing going in. I'm sitting in a solid 2nd place so have time for Arvidsson and luck to turn around. Would you drop him for:

Schmaltz
Kessel
Josh Norris?

I'd be tempted for Schmaltz. But ya you have to think there is at least a short term turnaround coming for Nashville.

The options are tempting but considering your situation I would hold on Arvidsson a little longer.

I haven't watched many Nashville games but yeah, this team is under performing, again. I didn't like the hiring of Hynes last year. Nothing changed after he came in. It has to be time to cut ties with him if they want to try to salvage the season. Way too much talent on this team to be this bad. I think I said the same thing last year. Time is running out.

this was my thinking too as to whether or not I will retain him. I have him, Rakell, and Tatar but I am in second still so I am hoping I can wait for a turnaround.
