I think my reply came across way more dry than it needed to or was intended lol.
But the way prospects go man, you never know. I would never guess that Zegras is better than Laf, but I've been plenty wrong before. I whiffed on Kucherov huge, even my eye test... ouf... and hit on others...
I think Zegras is gonna be pretty good but not as good as Lafrenière. In another thread I compared Laf to Stamkos. Hard first year, followed by a path to success.

I suspect we'll start to see Lafreniere warm up in the second half of the year.
I think Zegras is going to make a real impact this year. First few games could go either way 0 pts or pt/gm.
it's an interesting comparison -
Lafreniere is surrounded by high end talent - as a result it pushes him down the depth chart & limits linemate exposure & TOI.
Zegras is on an island - meaning TOI is limitless - there for the taking as soon as he demonstrates ability.
GAPING Buy low opportunity on Lafreniere
Buy low opportunity on Rakell - likely the player that benefits the most from a successful arrival of Zegras.
Personally, I think Cozens has the lowest ceiling of the three. No knock on cozens by any means. The other two are just going to be really really good.

Skated with Steel and Silfverberg. And saw a ridiculous 4:37 on the PP.
Yahoo update on Zegras debut....
Tue, Feb 23
Trevor Zegras was held pointless in his NHL debut Monday.
Advice: The much-anticipated debut of the Ducks first pick and ninth overall in 2019, went okay as he came close to tying the game up late. “I was just kind of hanging around the net and the puck squirted right through the defenseman’s legs,” Zegras said. “I’d like to have that one back. Down by one with two minutes left, that’s got to be in the back of the net. I saw the goalie pushing out. I tired to elevate it (the shot). He made a great save.” Coach Dallas Eakins was pleased with his game as he exhibited outstanding passing skills and had a couple of shots on goal. “I thought he was good,” Eakins said. “He made some good plays on our power play. He had an excellent chance to tie it near the end. The second period was tough on him with all the stops and starts, but overall I thought it was a good game for him.”
Cozens and Zegras are different players imo and they will also be used different and have different expectations.
Cozens is #2 in Buffalo as long as Eichel is there and he will be played in more defensive situations then Zegras which does not mean he will be defensive forward but i would say 70 points ceiling
Zegras will at least be asked to be the guy in Anaheim in year or 2 and will be given all the opportunity to produce offence , offensive zone faceoffs, PP1 ect.
Point wise i think Laf and Zegras will be much closer than either one vs Conzens.
