Looks awesome! I know this would be a completely different situation, but I wish they did this in Canada somewhere because the North Division matchups have been by far the most exciting to watch this year. No shortage of gorgeous backdrops, fan attendance isn't critical to its success and I would love to see McDavid vs Matthews in a setting like this!

I want a game on an actual frozen lake. Shovel the snow and go! Everyone would watch for the 0.00001% chance that someone falls into the lake.

The lake by my house in Maine could easily work - as could SO MANY in Canada. Right now the ice fishermen tell me the ice is 16” thick. You could drive an 18-wheeler across it. And with drone cameras, no issue broadcasting.

Tahoe does not freeze - I grew up in that area. It’s one of the deepest freshwater lakes in the world. But it would be cool if they played on an actual lake. Or glacier like the one they used this fall in BC with some of the Canucks players.

Certainly a sweet setup and good on the NHL for using the no fans problem to give them a picturesque backdrop.
