Help putting a deal together

12 team H2H in sig.

Trying to consolidate my team, free up a roster spot to get Dumba off IR, and upgrade my G, D, or C. Tops in goals right now but hurting badly in A, PPP,+/- and goalie cats as well.

Maybe I just need to be patient on the A/PPP front, but goalies been a hot mess and Mrazek will be back eventually.

Seeking advice on which position you all think I should prioritize trading for, and which guys on my squad are ripe for the offering.

One owner has Ziba, Couture, PLD (IR), Horvat, & Kadri and very weak on D.

Another has Matthews, Point, Larkin, Wheeler.

Any C+ or D+ deals there worth exploring with them? Is Grzelcyk worth offering up to a team that can wait? Or is he more likely to help me over Dumba or Sergachev eventually?

Could also target a goalie like Talbot, coming off the Covid list. That guy first lost Tony D and now Trouba...


If I'm not trading, I guess I'm dropping Mantha or Schmaltz or both. Available Gs are Jarry, Korpi, Samsonov, Dreidger, Petersen, J. Allen.

I would drop Mantha for Samsonov ASAP. He's on his way back.

Then I would package Kuz and someone for an upgrade. Kuz is pretty average in multi cat leagues. He doesn't hit or shoot much, and his goals have been way down lately.

Appreciate that. My eyes are on Samsonov but also figured since Vanecek has been playing much better recently that I figured the crease may end up murkier than expected pre-season.

First drop is going to be activating Dumba, so I would need to drop a second for Samsonov. Schmaltz? Sergachev/Gurianov (their games postponed through the weekend)?

Lost out on waivers for Samsonov.

A couple of offers I'm considering trying:

Give Kuz+Sergachev or Dumba

Get Couturier + Francouz (IR stash) -- would then add an FA goalie (Jarry, Elvis/Korpi, Dreidger)



Give Dumba/Sergachev or maybe Grzelcyk+ (currently on IR)

Get one of Horvat/Couture/Trocheck or PLD (also currently on IR)


Are these offers in ballpark of reality? Not sure how to value Dumba or Sergachev. I think Serg is maybe due to regress a bit points-wise, but he is on a strong TB squad with PP2 time.
