Gregory Hofmann was traded from Carolina to Columbus for a 7th round pick. Hofmann was drafted by Carolina in 4th round of the 2011 draft. He's currently playing for Zug in the National League and is expected to finish his season there. I actually have no idea why Carolina still has his rights since it's been almost a decade since he was drafted and he never signed an NHL contract.
Anyways, adjust your prospect ranking for this 28 year old accordingly!!!!!!!
