I think my choice before the season was Sullivan. I'm sure there's a game on here somewhere.
If Blashill has lasted this long he isn't going anywhere.
I'd be worried about a house cleaning in Vancouver. Benning and Green.
Vote 1: Quinn in NYR
Runner ups:
Hynes and Blashill
Dark horse:
Sullivan, especially with the changes in management team....

I think teams will wait until the offseason but will have the yellow pages out checking for leads on gm availability
Coach on the hot seat in vancouver, but if Green is fired it will just drive the team down further, its management that made the mess there.
Staffing changes will be tricky this year. By the time they get a new coach out of quarantine the season could be half over
John Hynes. The sooner the better. Nashville's window is closing fast.
Hynes (and the GM Poile with him) in Nashville. I laughed when he was hired.
Green is on a hot seat, but they were pretty decent last year.
Sullivan has 2 Cup wins in Pittsburgh, and the team is currently holding down a playoff spot. That's a level of stupid that screams Philadelphia sports team management - we've fired at least one coache in first place here during a season for no reason except team performance.

I expect Sullivan and Green to make it through the year. Not sure about next season but there's still time for both teams to turn it around. I expect Benning to get let go in Vancouver before Green.
Quinn would be my first choice if I was making it. Hynes would be second.
The problem really comes down to teams with limited incomes due to Covid not wanting to pay multiple coaches for the same job. I'll really be surprised if anyone gets fired this year due to the limited money coming into ownership.

Maybe not the Canucks duo...although we always see this right before the end haha.
Canucks owner has 'full confidence' in Benning, Green

I'm going to say "no one".
COVID is a shitty time for a lot of people.
I think we have to extend the leash for people that are making an honest effort.
There's also an income problem for owners - and terminating one's employment - but still paying them... only to hire and pay somebody else... doesn't seem like the wisest move!
No one took Julien here....pretty surprising.
I think it was in E. Freidman's latest 31 thoughts that he postulates whether a team would make the move now to get Babcock given there is a set date for when he will start in Saskatchewan.
I'm not saying the Habs did this to go after Babcock, but it's a possibility and could explain why they made the move now.

He doesn't speak french fluently. It came up in 2015 when he was hired by the Leafs. There was talk around "do you make an exception for Babcock?". I'm sure he can piece some sentences together though.
He went to McGill, that's really the only major connection he has with Quebec. He continues to wear his McGill tie to places, and clearly embraces the university, but that's really the only connection.
