I just came here to say this as well.

I re-read the article several times in hopes to find the word 'coach' behind TE.

Guys a crazy athlete. There's a very small amount of people on this earth that could play in the NFL and in MiLB. At this point, I wouldn't be shocked if he lit up a famous persons hockey game.

Julio about to get traded for a 2nd+5th round swap. Watch.

I personally think every team should be dropping a 2nd for the guy if your cap can do it. I know as a WFT fan, I am going to be mad when they don't do it.

The team is in such cap hell, they can't even sign rookies right now.

He wants out because he wants to win and he feels like Atlanta won't win.

Makes sense. Does New England have any room to trade for him?

Where could he go to win?

    Patriots and Rams are faves.

Titans players have been publically campaigning for him. I think the other faves are:
Chargers, 49ers (Shanahan connection), Jags, WFT, Raiders

Patriots have been going for Julio since the draft where they tried to swing a mega-deal for the 4th overall+Julio and it obviously didn't happen. But they have A TON of cap space now and in the future.

Not if he goes to New England. Cam doesn't know how to target anyone other than himself in the end zone.

Well, he can't really lock on to any target the last couple of years regardless of where on the field they are.

But even when he was decent... he decided to run more often than throw.

Heard on the radio that Julio Jones could be traded within the week and Seattle has inquired about him (as all teams should).

Every fanbase except maybe KCC or Buccs will see the trade and say "That's all it cost to get Jones?!"

    Well he was moved yesterday.

    To Titans:
Julio Jones, 2023 6th round pick

    To Falcons:
    2022 2nd, 2023 4th round pick

My guess of 2nd round pick + 5th round pick swap was freaking close.

Titans added a guy who expects to get the ball 7-10 times a game in an offense that threw maybe 25-30 times. The did lose their no2 and 3 in targets from last yr (Jonnu and Corey Davis) but you went out of their way to get a top WR to go along with AJ Brown in an offense that doesn't throw. So unless they're changing their offense with their new HC, and removing Henry from his large load, I don't think this is an ideal spot for Jones. He'll play 12 games, be in the tent and with a trainer during 8 of those games, he'll be hurting for red zone targets just like in Atlanta, and he'll have it tough because I'm sure he's still going to garner double teams.

However, it's a 2nd round pick. Whoever the Titans would have picked in the 2nd round in 2022, wouldn't have much of an impact on their team in 2022. Great trade when it comes to what you gave up, but the fit is just odd to me because it's the Titans. But you can't double team both AJ Brown and Julio, plus Reynolds can go full time slot where he's best suited. Titans possess the best 1-2 punch in the league now, and it cost them a 2nd round pick and like 60picks difference in the late rounds.

Play soft in the middle, Henry eats. Play tight and stack the box, WR eat in the middle. Double team Julio, AJ Brown eats (visa-versa), pull guys to the outside and have help on both, Henry and Reynolds eats.
