If Seattle selects a UFA they have first dibs though? Which kind of seems like nothing.... I don't know how it works, but can't a guy turn down an offer from a team then go out and listen to other offers, but still sign with first team on a slightly different offer?
Seems so much risk - not much reward.

As of now he is not. He’s not signed beyond 20-21 which makes him ineligible. He’s an RFA but if hasn’t signed by the expansion draft he is not available for it.

Goalies have a special rule if they are RFA's per the NHL website, which I copied the relevant part in here:

One goalie who is under contract in 2021-22 or will be a restricted free agent at the end of his current contract immediately prior to 2021-22. If a team elects to make a restricted free agent goalie available to meet this requirement, that goalie must have received his qualifying offer prior to the submission of the team's protected list.

No, Both Montembleault and Desrosiers are green and eligible. (Look at their Expiry - it is green)

If players aren't on the exempt list than they are exposed. (Pending being protected)
There's minimum exposure requirements that teams must meet. Teams must expose minimum 2 Forwards, 1 Defense, 1 Goalie, that meet the criteria.
Players that meet the criteria have their expiry highlighted in green.

I'd be willing to make that move. Dreidger si going to get more starts this year, and should have more value because of it.

Good call I would have made that move as well. Florida needs to start playing this guy more than Bob.
