After much thought on this deal, I am going to add something else to my payment if I lose.

That article is a disgrace to good reporting everywhere. It's a sales job by a guy who wants to help out his beloved Rangers.

All I could think about when reading the article was who it was written by and Dan Boyle's thoughts on him (google the video on Youtube if you don't remember it).

My favorite part of the article is this photograph and its caption:

The caption says, "Marc Staal celebrates with Tony DeAngelo following a goal last season." Yet the picture is of Marc Staal, Jesper Fast and Brett Howden celebrating together and all completely ignoring Tony Deangelo. That picture says more about what his teammates think about him than any of his words in the article.

Well, it's been a month since DeAngelo was kicked off the Rangers. Turns out there is NO interest from NHL teams for his services. Now, he and his agent are hoping that an AHL team would be willing to let him play. I doubt even that's going to happen if it hasn't already.

Careful, we don't know that there hasn't been any interest. I stand by my earlier prediction:

My opinion is he will play in the NHL again this year. I also believe it won't be anytime soon. My best guess is he gets traded near the trade deadline. GMs will probably want to give this whole situation time to cool down before jumping on it. But I do believe it will happen. He has too much offensive talent.
