    Default Rossi - UBI

Haven't had any updates so far but now it looks like he's heading back to Austria for 6 weeks.

Marco Rossi (upper body) has reportedly returned home to Austria.

Advice: According to sources, Rossi will be back to Minnesota in six weeks. Minnesota announced prior to the start of the 2020-21 season that Rossi would be sidelined indefinitely due to an upper-body injury. It's still unclear when he will be available to play.

at this rate, im not optimistic he will play this season.

6 weeks + 2 week quarantine when he comes back gets us to early april, a month before the playoffs. at that point, no sense burning a year from his ELC unless theyre solidly in a playoff spot.

I agree. Although he would fit nicely into basically whatever C position he wants on the Wild.

Well if he has a broken fibula then I would agree. Rumors are going around about that.

Apparently Rossi has complications from covid that he had in November. Presumably this would mean he has myocarditis which is a common after effect for those that get covid.

i dont expect him to play this season 100% now.

    Well this is good news....

According to TSN's Darren Dreger, Marco Rossi (COVID complications) is progressing and will soon begin light training.

Advice: Rossi's recent tests show him progressing and all involved expect Minnesota's first round pick to be ready for training camp next season. Rossi was expected to make the Wild roster out of camp but COVID-19 complications after contracting the virus in November ruled him out for the entire season. This is encouraging news and fantasy managers will be eager to select Rossi next season. He are Kirill Kaprisov can be the next great duo in the NHL.

Now that Fiala is making us all look silly for considering dropping him...

He’s certainly warmed up lately. After his 4 pt night he’s in a tie for 94th in league scoring with 25 pts in 35. Before that he was tied for 149th - with the s likes of Brandon Saad, Jesper Bratt, and Elias Pettersson - who hasn’t played since early March. So in many leagues he was quite droppable. Reminds me a bit of Zibanejad eh?
