    Default K'andre Miller

Keeper, points only, goal = assist = 1p

Who do you have? Jake Bean or K'Andre Miller?

    Bean for me.
Carolina has four D-men signed for $4m-$5m (Slavin, Skjei, Gardiner, Pesce).
I think there is a VERY good chance Dougie walks to wherever is offering the big $$$... well... and the best museums! Of course!

CAR has an absolute truckload of UFAs this summer, in addition to Dougie.
Mrzaek, Reimer, Dzingel, McGinn, and Martinook are all UFAs.
The D is fine... Bean can run a PP and play sheltered 3rd pairing minutes.
    That might work for CAR.

Meanwhile, there's no denying that NYR has more talented D-man in front of Miller... most notably Fox... but also TonyD (assuming he gets out of doghouse).
    Even Trouba.

Just more opportunity -offensively- for Bean, IMO.

I'm thinking NYR has no LD in the system, so Miller could be a mainstay on their left side.

And btw - cap league, so ELC 3 years counts. That's why i'm torn.

Suit yourself. Thread title suggests you've already decided.
Bean has two AHL years of production though... and AHL is decent competition. (>> NCAA, IMO)

Lead the Checkers in scoring last year - not easy (at any level) for a D-man to lead his team in scoring.

Pengwin makes a good point about the internal Quality of Competition on the respective teams of both players.

Carolina has strong D. Outside of Hamilton though, who is likely gone at the end of the year, the team has no one else who can be a no doubt about it PP1 D which is where your D usually have the biggest opportunity to rack up the points. Bean looks like he’ll be the heir to that job. Even if he’s selected by Seattle which many predictions make (I believe Carolina will find a way to keep him) he’ll still likely be the top option.

Miller has some real competition at the moment. Tony D might be on the way out, but if not he’s a proven PP QB and as for Fox, he’s absolutely not going anywhere and looks to be a legit stud.

Bean makes for a good decision between those two.
