I think his upside is good but in a keep 8 I don't think he makes the cut yet. the extra picks will be more helpful
Through an earlier trade, I obtained an extra 2nd and 3rd round pick next year. The GM that traded those picks to me regrets his decision and wants to get the picks back.
He is offering Boqvist for his old 2nd and 3rd round picks from our earlier deal. So essentially I would get Boqvist and be back to square one with all of my original picks in tact for next years draft.
Seems like that might be little steep to me, but I’ve been looking for opportunities to retool my D with a good young dman. I’m looking to keep 3 D most likely, and I can see him potentially being my 3rd keeper D behind Hamilton and Werenski, and cutting Ellis and Gustafson loose.
Thoughts?

Wow- 0.5 for a PIM. So a minor penalty is worth an assist?
Boqvist's upside is a 50-60 pt PP1 QB BUT he has definitely regressed and that ceiling looks like a couple seasons away if he ever gets there. Plus, we all know that small, offensive defensemen are no sure thing. Since it is keep 8, he will definitely will not be a keeper this season. I'd keep the picks and wouldn't even take a 3rd for him. (I am assuming it is an draft for all the unkept players and entry level players?)

Thanks for the input. I think I’ll hold onto the picks
Yeah... definitely hold the picks.
16x8 = 128 keepers
I think Boqvist (CHI) won't be there until 2023-2024.
There's a lot of good puck-moving D men... and 4-5 coming in 2021 draft.
So don't overvalue Boqvist... CHI stinks so bad... and Keith is still there.
He likely will NOT be on the radar of many fantasy hockey GMs.
If you want him, just redraft him with one of those two picks... I think he'll be there in the 2nd or, even probably, the 3rd round (esp w/CHI stinking badly this year).
What about Nolan Patrick for Boqvist?
