By all means throw out the offer, but in my opinion Mantha is not going to get it done.
Especially right now with Mantha slumping and seeing 2nd line usage and limited minutes.

With Blackwood out, I'm looking for a fix. The best available player is Kudobin. His team is pretty good so I have to offer some real value. I'm thinking Mantha. I'm pretty deep at wing, so I should be able to absorb it. Should I do it?

Short term it'll help, but long term it will be painful at best. I would find someone else to cover for Blackwood over the next week or so. Are Dreidger/Campbell available? How many adds do you have per week? Any other trade/FA options?

Campbell is out for few weeks at least...
I personally think Khubodin still has several years of high production...he appears to be late bloomer and great one at that.
I own Bishop in my main league and i traded Nick Robertson to get Khubodin once injury came out on Big Ben...i think Khubodin is more than worth someone like Mantha and i dont think its short term unless 3-4 years is short term for you...

The goalies of value available through waivers are Lankinen, DeSmith, Quick, Allen, Halak, Wedgewood, Elliot, Driedger. I was hoping Blackwood would be available today. If I make a deal before game time, I can play the goalie. Waivers will wait until Sunday.

The waivers until Sunday bit vs making a trade and getting the body now really changes things. Could you try Drouin or Yandle instead of Mantha?
