Werenski & low pick for Drysdale & McMichael

Hey guys, I am trying to add a young d-man to my team since overall I got a young core and a team that is actually top 4 in the league and in a weaker conference with a good path to the finals. I was on my way there last year before Covid canceled that.

Anyways defense are 2.5x scoring in my league and offensive d-men are super valuable. I was looking to add one of either Werenski or Sergachev (preferred him) but the other GM wants to move Werenski. I know he's a stud d but Columbus scares me a bit... team is shitty... like real shitty lol. However they did just add Laine. So my question is, should I sacrifice both high end prospects Drysdale & McMichael for Werenski? (he said he would throw in a low pick, so don't care about that). Where did I imply that he is old lol? I was asking if moving Drysdale and McMichael for him was worth it? Columbus as a team scares me, and hes off to a brutal start. He's not old at all, and did not mean to suggest that in the slightest lol.

I'd do it. It's a nice buy-low on Werenski and you never know how prospects will turn out. Drysdale and McMichael are two-three years from being fantasy relevant, if they pan out at all.
IMO Torts will be gone at the end of the year and CBJ will be more offensive.

I wouldnt be trading away Werenski, I'd be getting him. Bolster my team, just was worried as CLB has been bad and wasnt sure if it was smart to move Drysdale and McMicheal for him...

You are right... I am one of those people who seem to value prospects to much sometimes, but Werenski is proven the other two are not... and like you said helps me now and for the future. Just hope CLB turns it around, or Torts is gone. Werenski is just off to a super cold start me thinks.

Thanks!!! I guess shitty was maybe a poor word choice. They just aren't that gifted when it comes to offensive talent and off to a lackluster start. Werenski should still turn it around none the less... I hope
