    Default Should I add Gibson?

My team looks pretty good this year but I am worried a bit about my goaltending(understood it is early). Some of the other teams have much stronger goalies than me and I am wondering if I should make a move for Gibson before someone else scoops him up.

Here are the thoughts on my current goalies + Gibson.

Price - very talented and on a good team. However with the North Division he is going to be facing a high powered offense almost every night. Also, a really good backup in Allen who will steal a lot of starts.

Shesterkin - like everyone I was expecting a big year. Obviously has struggled this year to start(still early, I know). Plus a good backup in Georgiev. NYR are struggling to start the year and could be in for a long year.

Varlamov - Looking good early and plays for a great defensive team. Solid goalie.

Gibson - likely not many wins but great peripherals. Had one bad game but has been playing fantastic since. Plus not a great backup so he will play a lot of games. Nobody in my league has noticed him yet but I would guess someone will scoop him up soon. Thinking about maybe dropping Shesterkin for him. Would that be a mistake? Don't want to make any panic moves but my worry is that Gibson will be gone soon.

One year league, keeper, dynasty? What are starting requirements?

Your categories lean towards wanting volume for Saves. I'd be willing to make a move for him, but exactly what move depends on the answers to the above questions.

One year league. Would you drop Shesterkin for him? At best it looks like he could be in a time share this year. Worst he could be backup if he continues to struggle.

I wouldn't make the move in a one year league. If only 8 teams I'm sure there will be plenty of goalies available all season.

Gibson is a good goalie on a very bad team. The only category I can see him offering something in is the saves category. I'd keep what you have.
