    Default Gusev, Zucker or Valimaki

    Hi all,

I had a rough fantasy start, we many players not delivering. So I have dropped yesterday Zucker & Gusev for Pavelski and Rasmus Andersson.
We have 24h to modify a move.
So I am wondering if I should give a chance to one of Gusev or Zucker and drop Valimaki instead? Positiion wise I am ok with either dropping a F or a D.

My concern with Gusev is his icetime. Around 14min, and even as low as 9min on January 19!

Zucker is just going nowhere and doesn't have the wow enough pedigree to back him.

Valimaki os more of a long term project, but in my league it is easy to get those players.

    Thanks

I would swap Valimaki for Gusev and bank on a rebound from him.

Last season, Goose's icetime was very low as well and he still managed a 55 point pace.
I would give him some time as he's still relevant on NJ's PP and he could benefit from Hischier's return.
    Points-only keeper league. 12 teams. Keep any 12 players. Dress 12F - 6D - 2G.

I think the answer here is pretty obvious, Gusev is the clear choice to move forward with. Zucker is Zucker, it is what it is and I don't think anything changes, his upside is no where near what Gusev's is. Valamaki you have nailed, he will likely be a very solid fantasy asset, but that's not going to be this year and likely not next year either. Gusev will come around, his time is now.
