I sold last yr to get picks this yr. So I'm in a win mode. Do I do this trade:

My: Kucherov + 3rd round pick (1st after keepers)
His: Matthews + Georgiev +13th (10th after keepers)
Drop: I need to drop 2 players to make room for Matthews+Georgiev

I would say no. I get you want to win this year but at the cost of losing in future years? Maybe that’s all depends on what the payout is Ofcourse.

Getting Matthews will be really good for this year and all years to come however getting Georgiev is in my mind pointless with weekly locks. If it was a daily league then sure but slim to none that you would lock both Shesterkin and him. So with that losing a 1st rounder to me seems a lot to give up.

Some additional info I should add

Money league ($20 buy in, winner is like $200), and the top goalie on FA Malcom Subban and Calvin Peterson. Corey Crawford is the 3rd highest owned goalie on FA in this league. So the Georgiev addition is a protection add to Shesterkin if he's hurt.

Any more insight on this would be great. Not that I don't love Newper's input!

If you're going for it this year, I think you gotta take Matthews over Kucherov for sure.
