Any concerns over his slow start?
I know many were projecting he probably wouldn't product at the same pace as last year, however I also read somewhere that his stats were pretty sustainable since he shoots the puck so much, and his shooting % was very normal last year.
I figured D would be a strength for my this year between Quinn Hughes and Josi, but so far I don't even have a goal from my D!
He is playing big minutes in all situation of course, and he seems to snap out of his funks eventually, Ie: 18-19 he started with 2 in 7 and went off after that.

It's an odd one for sure...Josi, Ellis and Ekholm have all been very quiet out of the gate. I am hoping this is not due to a changed style of play, but you have to think at least those first two guys snap out of the funk soon.

Nashville has been an offensive pit for players for as long as I can remember. Their last 65 point forward was JP Dumont 15 years ago. I’ve stopped having Nashville players long ago. And now they have one of the worst coaches in fantasy history to boot. Trade Josi while people still remember last year. That’s my very biased opinion.

Not looking to trade him, he has 20 shots through 5 games, and nothing I read or heard said he wasn’t worth a high pick in any drafts.
I just found it odd he’s so quiet, and I’m not really concerned forwards wise because guys like Forsberg are off to a good start so that should help Josi, he has just only been in on 1 assist so far so he should get in on more offence.
He had the same coach last year, of course I don’t think Nashville is run and gun but Josi at worst is a 50-55 pt guy in 82 games, and he led them in scoring last year, so he’s got upside for more.
I hope he doesn’t have a terrible offensive year because if so I’m in trouble, but that would be my luck lol. Just looking at him year by year and based on his shooting he always puts up a good number of points.

No concerns at all. Josi has been one of the most consistent D man over the past 6 seasons and won the Norris trophy last year with 65 points in 69 games. He has 20 shots in 5 games so far.

I passed on tavares and Connor with my 1st overall in our redraft and regret it terribly so far. Looking for a big turn around soon.
