Default Draisaitl Trade Offer (Will REP)

Draisaitl owner already considering selling off for next year. I am sitting in fourth but in striking distance with substantially fewer games played than the league leader (each position capped at 56x#of roster spots we have at that position). I am wondering if the following will be an overpay offer:

Give: Aho, Lafreniere, 1st round pick
Get: Draisaitl, 3rd or 4th round pick

I understand Lafreniere is valuable in more expansive keepers, but at this point I don't see keeping him over any of Pastrnak, Rantanan, Aho, Svechnikov or even likely J. Hughes heading into next year. But I might be shooting too high and should be looking for a stronger depth D or 2nd Centre, which I think are honestly my weaknesses right now. Thoughts? Perhaps Aho and the first is enough, I just have a feeling it wouldn't make it happen.

Aiming too high isn't a normal sort of problem.

Lareniere isn't likely a keeper for you, so dealing him is fine. I'd try it without the first, but leave Lafreniere in there. Give him a late pick to make up for the pick.

I would try it but change the picks you are offering to:

Your 3rd round for his 6th or 7th round.

I think Aho and Lafrenière are a pretty good package to start with and you can negotiate the picks after if he says no.

Thanks I will try and see what comes back. He also has P. Kane which would be an easier get, but I am already pretty set at RW. Rep given

Aho, Laf and a 1st didn't get it done. I will be getting a counter probably later today. However I get the feeling it is going to be for Aho, a 1st and some other roster player that is just below my keepers (Guentzel, maybe Hughes) which I don't think is worth it.

Any thoughts on who I could include in a deal with Aho and a 1st? Seems he wants a forward and I would include any one of Vrana, Yamamoto, and Horvat along with Aho and a 1st, but anything over that seems like an overpay that hurts me this season and therefore isn't worth it. Feels like anyone besides them or Laf doesn't really make sense for me but would appreciate if people feel differently.

Did you try Aho & Laf? That's where I'd go, if you haven't.

    I offered:

    Aho + Laf + 1st rd pick

    for

    Draisaitl + 6th rd pick

No Dice. Any other forward on my roster in Laf's place besides Vrana, Yamamoto or Horvat seems an overpay.
