Thoughts on Kubalik

Hello Kubalik is sitting on the wire in my league is he worth the pickup with Chicago in the state it is? I'd be dropping Saad or Beauvillier for him. G/A/SH/FOW/FOL/PIM/HITS/BLKS

I definitely prefer Kubalik over Saad in a vacuum. Kubalik has a much greater offensive upside. It's just about opportunity. I think I would take Kubalik and hope he gets on the #1PP and gets some time with Kane at 5-on-5. Saad is a good, sturdy skater and helps drive possession but doesn't get any grit stats even though he has all the tools and doesn't finish offensive opportunities. Saad is a frustrating player if your expectations are too high. He's a low-end 2nd line winger or a high-end 3rd pairing shutdown winger. Kubalik is a 30 goal player. I can't intelligently comment on Beauvillier. Good luck.

I like Beauvillier a lot. He's had a slow start but I think he picks it up.

I would drop Saad for Kubalik for sure, doesn't seem like Saad is getting time with the big boys on the Avs.

Thanks. I think Beauvillier will come around to he was a guy I really like but NYI isn't a hotbed of offence and it's hard to drop any Col player. But yes I think Saad probably won't be the guy I need him to be.
