What would you give up for Lafreniere?

I think if there was ever a chance to land Lafreniere, it may be now before he scores his first NHL point. Take a look at my signature and my Keeper league, and what could I reasonably give as an offer to land the Ranger forward. You'll notice that I am rebuilding, and have a very young team.

This obviously depends on the state of the team who owns Laf. If they are rebuilding, good luck. If they are contending, I'd try something like Tavares. There's no cap in your pool so Tavares would be the guy that makes sense to me. I dont think any of your other forwards would do it, maybe Huberdeau. That's the ask you will most likely get.

I think that is too high of a counter from that GM.
I'd offer back just Tavares.
Hammer home that Tavares is a proven ppg player and Laf is a rookie who needs to prove himself.
Sell that by acquiring Tavares it helps him more this year and next for competing to win your league

Yeah. He'll take tavares, he's just trying to milk for more, which is the right play
