Acquiring Bjorkstrand

Hey! Just wanted to check in and get some thoughts on a trade offer I have made for Bjorkstrand. In win now mode for team and league in sig.

MY Zegras, 7th round pick + 1 of either Beauvillier, Kahun, Zadina or Thomas for HIS Bjorkstrand.

He said he'd think about it and maybe come back with a counter offer.

Thoughts? Fair value or not? Does the Laine acquisition change anything?

Very fair offer in win now, Bjorkstrand is a stud and I think Laine coming will help not hurt.

Issue is will he be a keeper? I don’t see it with those fwd studs as he’s not good enough to replace your top 7, esp if Kucherov and Pasta are included (they’re not in bold for some reason). Then again. it’s not like Zegras was going to supplant any of those guys anytime soon.

Yeah neither Zegras or Bjorkstrand will become keepers with how stacked I am at forward position. Zegras I basically picked up as trade option exactly for an opportunity like this. Other GM is already over 30 pts behind in our league and he did mention a few months ago he wasn't expecting to compete this year.

Gonna have some tough decisions to make when handing in my keepers next offseason. Kucherov and Pasta are not bolded because they are on my bench. Bolded players are my starting lineup.
