I feel like too many people are sleeping on him because of the Arizona factor, but I think this kid is the real deal. I expect him to lead the Coyotes in scoring. I don’t think a 65 point pace is an insane projection.
Isn't it time we start considering Garland as a serious threat to put up 65pts pace numbers as soon as this year? Is usage is finally conductive to actual production. Lots of shots too. This guy literally destroyed the minors and never got any hype, perhaps because of his small frame and draft rank. I patiently kept it on my farm team for years and now, maybe it's time to finally unleash him!
What do you guys think about this guy?

In shallower leagues, I would really want his ice time to creep up a little. This season it's hovering around 15-16 min - but him and Schmaltz have something going. Both are small and fast, and I think both could project in that 50-55 pt range...and a little more if the ice time increases.
In deeper leagues, I'd bite...maybe less so in bangers.

Tough call. He’s one of these younger guys who hasn’t established his known quantity yet. He doesn’t have the pedigree. But that doesn’t mean much. Currently his 5 on 5 SH % is 12.5. His previous seasons were 6 and 8. His all situation SH % is 10% - which feels more like it. His PDO is quite high at 1091 so that might mean he’s going to come down a bit - but it does depend on where his “normal” lies. On paper he’s generally a sell high, but I’d be willing to hold on him and see where it goes. But I’m not going out and dropping a more proven asset or over-paying for him right now.

I don't think he can break much better than a 60 pt pace on Arizona but he's a good player and if that kind of production helps you (it should if you can stream) then I think he's worth investing in owning. I would keep expectations in check, though.

Agree on 55 to 60 pt. Pace. I think he's a smart kid, willing to learn and will capitalize on the top 6, and nonus PP time.
Man, I have to tell you that I started watching some more Arizona games (because they're all postponed....) and he is flying right now. I still think he will be a victim of his team but on a good team this guy could really put up numbers. Smart, always in the right spot and pretty fast and strong on his skates. I like what I see, more and more. This guy leads his team in scoring for sure.

Maybe a bit short but still. He looks for real.
