With all the injuries, COVID, etc will we see any F/D eligible guys this season?
As I'm sure many of us remember, having D play on forward lines and getting forward level production is a huge asset in fantasy. When guys like Byfuglien and Burns played forward it was big. The same is true when a forward plays D for awhile and ends up getting D eligibility, then goes back to forward (this happened with Fedorov in Columbus I think?). Is there anyone you guys are keeping your eye on that might get their value launched by gaining position eligibility?
I'm in a league that gives extra points for defenseman points, so I'm really hoping to move quickly if something like this happens.
Anyhow, keep an eye out!

It would have to be a team that is very deep at F and doesn't have the D depth to fill in for injuries.
Mark Stone might be your best bet, or a random depth forward on BOS/PIT/SJ. But really it just seems like you're grasping at straws A to hope for it to actually happen and B that it happens to a specific someone that you've targeted.

Sam Morin and Brendan Smith. Not fantasy-relevant in points leagues. Only valuable in multi-cat, so they would be better producers from the D position anyway.Originally Posted by pmorrow

Mark Pysyk played the wing a lot for Florida last season. He played it quite well. I believe he's set to be a dman in Dallas for this season but he should have wing eligibility as that's what he mostly played last season.
